Job Description
Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Lead Carpenter to join a top team in the Rhode Island Area. The ideal candidate has exceptional craftsmanship, strong leadership abilities, and extensive experience working on custom homes and high end remodel projects
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform high-level carpentry tasks, including but not limited to framing, finish carpentry, millwork installation, cabinetry, trim, and custom built-ins.
- Interpret and architectural drawings, blueprints, and detailed shop drawings accurately.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to maintain efficient jobsite.
- Oversee crew and ensure quality standards are met
- Enforce safety practices and maintain a clean, organized job site.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years of carpentry experience in high-end residential or custom home building/ .
- Master-level skill in frame to finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, and detailed custom work.
- Proven experience in leading crews and managing job sites.
- Strong knowledge of residential building codes, best practices, and construction techniques.
- Ability to work 40+ hours a week
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong references that will support your work history
Pay Range:
$30.00/hr. + DOE
