Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks with precision while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Duties Perform trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation with attention to detail. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, including woodworking, fixture installation, and roofing. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and siding installation as required. Conduct heavy lifting and physical labor as necessary for project completion. Assist in rebar installation for concrete structures and participate in masonry work when needed. Collaborate with team members on restoration projects including water damage restoration and mold remediation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or the restoration industry is preferred. Proficiency in carpentry techniques including framing, flooring installation, tile laying, and door hanging. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project management skills is a plus. Ability to operate CNC machinery for fabrication tasks is desirable. Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical work, metal stud framing, and construction painting is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Must be physically fit to handle the demands of heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on construction sites.
