In this role, you will be instrumental in executing residential and commercial carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards. Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently. Perform framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation as required. Install doors, cabinets, fixtures, siding, mold remediation components, and other building elements with precision. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and material handling using appropriate safety protocols. Contribute to remodeling projects by performing tasks such as tile laying, caulking, and restoration work. Follow construction estimating procedures to ensure project timelines and budgets are maintained while adhering to safety standards such as power tool safety regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and wood construction materials. Experience in residential carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding. Familiarity with drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, metal stud framing, and mold remediation techniques. Ability to operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Knowledge of construction site safety practices including proper use of power tools and heavy lifting techniques. Experience in restoration industry projects or handyman work is a plus; ability to adapt quickly to various tasks on-site.
