Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects including remodeling, restoration, framing, and finishing work. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment while developing their skills across multiple facets of construction. Responsibilities Assist in framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and fixture mounting using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work. Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, measuring and cutting materials for siding, roofing, flooring, or tile laying projects. Support restoration efforts including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration. Install doors, cabinets, siding, metal studs, and other fixtures with precision and care. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools such as hand tools and power tools. Skills Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. Skilled in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry installation. Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and CNC machinery for fabrication or assembly tasks. Knowledge of roofing techniques, siding installation, flooring installation (including tile laying), plumbing basics, electrical experience, and masonry work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for long shifts on construction sites. Experience with water damage restoration industry practices or general restoration projects is a plus. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and ability to follow detailed instructions for fixture installation or remodeling projects.
