We're a family-owned custom home builder and commercial contractor in Greeneville, TN, looking to add a reliable Carpenter to our team. Most of our work is in Greene County. As a third-generation, locally owned company since 1987, we take pride in building quality projects while treating our employees like family. We do not lay off team members when the weather turns or things slow down — we value stability and make supporting our crew a priority year-round. We typically schedule about 4 hours of overtime each week. What you'll do Hardie board siding, Hardie and vinyl soffit, and brake metal Setting doors and windows Interior trim — base, crown, and casing — plus fine finish work inside Occasional cabinetry Rough carpentry and other home-construction work as needed All work must be done safely and to code. We provide on-the-job training and expect you to keep improving your craft. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for daily travel to job sites High school diploma or equivalent Previous construction or carpentry experience (or relevant apprenticeship) preferred Ability to use a wide variety of tools with minimal supervision Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Why Join Idell Construction?
