Job Description

Overview Timberline Barns is seeking a skilled and motivated Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the construction and assembly of portable storage sheds. This position requires self-motivated, hard-working individuals who take pride in their workmanship. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay engaged in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Enthusiasm for construction and a willingness to contribute to team efforts is essential for success in this role. A strong understanding of construction methods, the ability to operate various tools, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities Framing, install metal roofs, paint structures, and contribute to the overall construction process of portable storage sheds. Operate hand and power tools, including air nailers, skill saws, cordless tools, Sawzalls, table saws, and routers, safely and efficiently. Climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at heights necessary for construction tasks. Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and organization. Maintain an organized warehouse by warehousing inventory appropriately. Collaborate with team members to prepare and clean up work areas. Follow safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Other related duties assigned by the Plant Manager or designated supervisor may include, but are not limited to, tasks that support construction activities, maintenance of the facility, and any other tasks necessary for the efficient operation of Timberline Barns. Qualifications Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or a similar trade. Familiarity with building materials and construction techniques, especially related to portable structures. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time. Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds. Valid certification to operate forklifts and scissor lifts. Framing experience preferred. Experience with metal roofing installation and painting preferred. Benefits eligibility after 90 days of successful employment.

$20.00 per hour
