In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise concrete work, including formwork, pouring, finishing, and finishing touches that bring construction projects to life. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of durable, high-quality concrete structures that meet safety standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from commercial buildings to renovation sites, utilizing your carpentry and concrete finishing skills to make a tangible impact. Responsibilities Construct and install formwork using carpentry skills, ensuring accurate interpretation of blueprints and schematics. Mix and pour concrete efficiently using concrete mixers and pumps, adhering to project timelines and safety protocols. Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and applying textures or coatings to meet design specifications. Install rebar and metal studs as reinforcement within concrete structures following technical drawings and safety guidelines. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for cutting, drilling, or shaping concrete components. Perform restoration work such as stucco, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to enhance finished surfaces. Follow construction plans meticulously while complying with workplace safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and concrete mixing processes. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics for accurate project execution. Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques. Knowledge of construction estimating principles for material quantities and project planning. Skilled in rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration techniques. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards; ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols during all phases of work.
