Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of wood, metal, and other materials across various projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and trim carpentry to metal building erection and concrete forming. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute project specifications. Measure dimensions using tape measures, rulers, and other tools to ensure precise cuts and fits. Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and structures using dimensional measurements and hand tools or power tools. Install siding, stucco, drywall, trim carpentry elements, and other finishing components with attention to detail. Erect metal buildings and perform rebar installation for concrete reinforcement in foundations and structures. Assist with concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable surfaces aligned with project requirements. Operate heavy equipment safely when needed for site preparation or material handling. Collaborate with construction management teams to follow safety protocols and meet project deadlines. Use blueprint reading skills to interpret construction plans accurately for various trades including masonry and framing. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining quality standards throughout the construction process. Skills Extensive experience in construction site environments with a solid understanding of safety procedures. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Strong knowledge of framing techniques including woodwork, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately with tape measures and other measuring devices. Experience with concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, and stucco application. Knowledge of welding processes relevant to structural steel or metal building erection is a plus. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for site preparation or material movement is advantageous. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during construction tasks. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans effectively for diverse projects.
