Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects on-site, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader in our construction management team, you will coordinate crews, interpret technical drawings, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, fostering teamwork and maintaining strict adherence to project specifications and deadlines. Duties Lead and supervise carpentry crews on construction sites, managing daily operations and ensuring productivity. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute construction tasks. Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and manage timelines effectively. Review and interpret construction contracts, ensuring all work aligns with contractual obligations and project plans. Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across the site. Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to design intent. Manage project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, change orders, and progress updates using tools like ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement activities to keep projects on track financially. Supervise subcontractors and manage crew scheduling to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines. Utilize technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required during construction phases. Skills Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction environments with a strong background in carpentry supervision. Proficiency in construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Primavera for scheduling and documentation. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction plans to ensure accuracy. Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. Proven ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards and quality control. Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Experience in managing project budgets, scheduling tasks efficiently, and overseeing contract compliance. Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus; familiarity with Ohmmeters for electrical testing is desirable.
