Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Framing Carpenter and play a vital role in building the foundation for commercial, residential, and industrial structures. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your carpentry expertise to create sturdy, precise frameworks. As a key contributor, you will interpret technical drawings, operate a variety of hand and power tools, and collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and quality construction. Your skills in framing, metal building erection, and concrete forming will help bring architectural visions to life while maintaining safety and efficiency on site. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing and structural components. Construct wall frames, floor systems, roof trusses, and other structural elements using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting large materials or moving structural components around the site. Collaborate with construction management to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines. Assist with remodeling projects by removing old materials, preparing surfaces, and installing new framing or finishes. Use measuring tools like tape measures for dimensional measurements and ensure accurate cuts and placements. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and tools regularly throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven experience in framing carpentry within commercial or residential construction environments. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for various construction tasks. Hands-on knowledge of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, nail guns; and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with construction management practices to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately. Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards; OSHA certification is a plus. Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed in remodeling or specialized projects. Join us in building structures that stand the test of time! Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
