About Rescue Safety Products Founded in 1999, Rescue Safety Products (RSP) designs and manufactures specialized training equipment and custom ambulance simulators for first responders, healthcare professionals, and safety organizations. We are seeking a dependable, self-sufficient Carpenter / Fabricator to help perform daily shop operations while building high-quality custom products. Position Overview This position combines hands-on carpentry and manufacturing work with shop leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, proficient with computers, and capable of independently performing shop operations while maintaining production quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform carpentry, fabrication, assembly, and finishing work from technical drawings and specifications. Load and unload trailers and shipments safely. Prepare basic electrical connections, wire routing, and light kit assemblies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Coordinate daily workflow and assist with production scheduling. Conduct quality control inspections on finished products. Manage shop upkeep, tools, equipment, and work areas. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional carpentry, fabrication, woodworking, or related experience. Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and specifications. Experience with shop tools, fabrication equipment, and measuring instruments. Strong organizational skills. Proficient with computers and basic software applications. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Must be at least 25 years old. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Requirements Clean background check (non-negotiable). Clean driving record (non-negotiable). Valid driver's license.
