General Carpenter / Construction Worker

Job Summary Join Our Quality Assurance Team! Luxury/Resort Home Builder in Port Aransas is seeking experienced general carpenters and construction workers. Waggoner Custom Homes, a fast-growing luxury home builder, is looking for seasoned general carpenters and construction workers. We need dependable, reliable, and proactive team leaders to own these positions. This is a ground floor opportunity for anyone with a career history of steadily rising responsibilities and a successful track record of building high quality homes at a fast clip.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of building techniques, tools, and safety standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Own basic hand tools (larger tools and specialty items provided) Ensure all site policies are adhered to, including quality, safety and cleanliness standards.

Skills:

Must possess knowledge of standard construction practices. Knowledge of industry safety practices. Sharp eye for detail and quality. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications:

Please have job related references at the ready. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, this is a field position 2+ years of construction experience (residential preferred)
