Plantation Shutter Installer - Full-Time Goode Shutters | Sanger, TX Goode Shutters is a growing, locally owned plantation shutter manufacturer serving homeowners throughout the DFW area. We manufacture our shutters in our Sanger facility and are looking for a full-time Shutter Installer to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well with customers, and can represent Goode Shutters professionally in our customers' homes. Shutter installation experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. Experience in carpentry, trim work, cabinetry, window treatments, construction, remodeling, or other skilled trades is a plus. What You'll Do Install custom plantation shutters in customers' homes throughout the DFW area Load and unload shutters and installation materials Accurately position, level, secure, and adjust shutters Make minor field adjustments when necessary Protect customers' floors, furniture, and property while working Keep the installation area clean and organized Inspect completed installations for proper fit and operation Communicate professionally with homeowners Identify and report any product or installation issues Help ensure every customer receives a finished product we're proud to put the Goode Shutters name on What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Good mechanical ability and comfortable using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail Professional appearance and communication skills Comfortable working inside customers' homes Able to work independently and solve problems in the field Able to lift and carry shutter panels and installation equipment Valid driver's license and good driving record Willing to travel throughout the DFW area during the workday Experience Previous experience with any of the following is helpful but not required: Plantation shutter or window treatment installation Finish carpentry Cabinet installation Trim or millwork Remodeling Door or window installation General construction We care more about finding the right person than finding someone who already knows shutters. We can teach shutter installation; we're looking for someone who is reliable, capable, and takes pride in doing quality work. Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Daytime hours No regular weekend work Based out of our Sanger, TX facility with installations throughout DFW Why Work at Goode Shutters? Goode Shutters isn't a large national installation company. We manufacture our own shutters locally and control the process from production through installation. The installer is the final person our customer sees and plays an important role in the quality and reputation of our company.
