Job Description

We are an established residential design‑build construction firm specializing in high‑quality custom homes, renovations, and additions. Our work emphasizes craftsmanship, clear communication, and well‑run job sites. We're looking for a skilled Site Supervisor / Lead Carpenter to help deliver excellent projects for our clients. Position Overview The Construction Site Supervisor / Lead Carpenter is responsible for day‑to‑day job site leadership , hands‑on carpentry, supervision of subcontractors and in-house carpentry teams. This role bridges planning and execution—ensuring projects that are built safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. This is an ideal role for a seasoned carpenter who enjoys leadership, problem‑solving, and creating well‑organized job sites. Key Responsibilities Job Site Leadership Supervise daily on‑site construction activities Prepare for individual scopes of work to keep projects moving efficiently Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Enforce safety standards and company quality expectations Carpentry & Construction Perform hands‑on carpentry work including: Framing, trim, and finish carpentry Review plans and specs and execute work accurately Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively Team & Subcontractor Coordination Direct and mentor carpenters and laborers Coordinate and oversee subcontractors Communicate clearly with project managers, designers, and office staff Serve as the on‑site point of contact for clients when needed Scheduling & Quality Control Track progress and help maintain project schedules Perform quality checks on completed work Assist with punch lists and close‑out tasks Accept and review material deliveries.
