$45,176 - $48,338 Job Summary/Basic Functions The University of Mary Washington has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Carpenter. The Senior Carpenter performs highly skilled carpentry work in one or more of the following modes: serves as project leader; serves as team leader and/or team member; works independently to provide senior-level carpentry tasks. Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications Considerable knowledge of all phases of carpentry and building maintenance Working knowledge of math, including fractions and decimals Considerable skills in the use of hand and power tools related to the carpentry trade Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions
Required Experience:
Considerable experience in the carpentry trade Considerable experience with maintaining records Considerable experience interpreting drawings, blueprints, and work orders Considerable experience making cost estimates of labor and materials Considerable experience working in confined spaces and working from heights, ladders and scaffolding Considerable experience performing manual labor, including lifting and carrying equipment and tools to and from job sites
