Carpenter/Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our team, specializing in a wide range of home improvement and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in carpentry and home improvements with the ability to handle various tasks such as custom built-in wall cabinets design/build, interior painting, framing, drywall and finishing. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing a broad skill set to deliver high-quality results. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing project plans efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards across all assignments. We will provide vehicle allowance for use of your vehicle. Duties Perform custom cabinet building, interior painting, framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and finishing work using hand tools and power tools Read construction drawings to accurately execute projects Install fixtures, cabinetry, doors, and other building components with precision Handle heavy lifting safely during material transport and installation processes Perform plumbing and electrical work within scope of expertise Apply caulking, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and painting to achieve finished surfaces Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications Extensive background in carpentry including custom cabinet building, interior painting, trim carpentry, framing, cabinet installation, door hanging, and woodworking Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation Experience with remodeling; flooring and tile installation; plumbing; electrical systems; plastering; fixture installation; drywall finishing; water damage restoration; CNC machining (preferred) Strong knowledge of safety standards Construction site experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship across various trades Ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects requiring attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient project execution This position is ideal for experienced professionals eager to contribute their broad skill set to challenging homr improvement projects.
