As an independent contractor, you'll install premium windows, doors, and skylights with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include site measurement and prep, removal of existing units, precise installation, flashing and sealing, trim work, and final inspections. You'll coordinate schedules, manage your crew, and maintain tools, vehicles, and job documentation. Responsibilities Install Marvin windows, doors, and skylights to manufacturer specifications and building codes Perform accurate site measurements, layout, and jobsite preparation Remove existing windows and doors while protecting customer property Complete flashing, sealing, insulation, and weatherproofing details Perform interior and exterior trim and finish work as needed Conduct quality checks and address punch list items to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant jobsite in line with OSHA standards Coordinate daily schedules, material needs, and project timelines with Marvin contacts Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition Prepare basic job documentation, including photos, change notes, and sign-offs Required Skills Window installation Door installation Carpentry Use of hand and power tools Construction safety practices Jobsite measurement and layout Flashing and weatherproofing Reading construction drawings Caulking and sealing techniques Trim and finish work
