Joiner

Morgan Hunt are seeking experienced and reliable Joiners to join a Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. This role involves working across a portfolio of residential properties, including both void (empty) properties and tenanted homes, ensuring all joinery and repair works are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all aspects of joinery work, including repairs, installations, and maintenance Work on void properties to prepare them for new tenants Undertake responsive and planned maintenance in occupied homes Install and repair doors, windows, kitchens, flooring, and other wooden fixtures Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards Provide excellent customer service when working in tenanted properties Accurately record work completed and materials used

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter, ideally within social housing or maintenance environments Ability to carry out a wide range of joinery tasks independently Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use) Good understanding of health and safety practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills
