Job Description

Construction Lead / Lead Carpenter - Residential & Commercial We are looking for an experienced and dependable Construction Lead / Lead Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for working alongside the crew while helping coordinate daily jobsite activities and ensuring work is completed correctly, safely, and on schedule. Scope of Work Our residential and commercial projects include: Wood framing Metal framing Drywall installation and finishing ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile) ceiling installation Interior finish carpentry and woodwork Painting General construction and remodeling Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a construction crew Assign and coordinate daily tasks Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and measurements Lay out work and ensure installations are completed correctly Monitor workmanship and quality Keep the crew productive and projects moving on schedule Communicate material, equipment, and manpower needs Identify and help resolve jobsite issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Enforce jobsite safety requirements Communicate progress and issues with management Train and assist less-experienced workers Perform hands-on construction work as needed Qualifications Strong residential and/or commercial construction experience Previous Lead, Crew Lead, Lead Carpenter, or Foreman experience preferred Experience with multiple trades is strongly preferred Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Strong knowledge of construction tools and materials Good leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and make jobsite decisions Reliable transportation Dependable and punctual Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Based on experience We are looking for someone who is experienced, takes initiative, can lead a crew, and is willing to work hands-on to get the job done.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
