Job Summary:
Performs skilled carpentry tasks related to general construction, installation, and maintenance to support project completion. Applies technical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements, secure assemblies, and high-quality workmanship. Works collaboratively with other team members to maintain productivity and uphold DPR's safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs general carpentry work including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood and related materials. Reads and interprets drawings or work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently. Operates hand and power tools safely to construct and repair structures or components. Inspects completed work for accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards. Communicates with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve challenges. Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition. Follows DPR safety policies and procedures on all assigned work.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2-4 years of experience in carpentry or a related field required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification required. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
