Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks, contributing to the successful completion of diverse construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new techniques to enhance their craftsmanship. Duties Assist with framing, trim carpentry, and cabinetry installation to ensure precise and high-quality finishes Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project accuracy Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing as needed on different projects Handle heavy lifting and material fabrication tasks including metal stud framing, siding, stucco, and drywall installation Support restoration efforts such as water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, and general building repairs Install fixtures, doors, flooring, tiles, and perform painting or caulking to meet project specifications Assist with plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC-related tasks when required by project scope Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for accurate project execution Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) Experience in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry installation Familiarity with construction site safety standards and ability to operate equipment such as CNC machines or scaffolding when necessary Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex fabrication or restoration projects Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems; experience in remodeling or renovation projects highly valued Skills in drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, roofing techniques, and tile laying Experience in water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus; strong problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting onsite issues Ability to read technical drawings accurately; experience with manufacturing or assembly processes beneficial Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills within the restoration industry Join us if you're ready to build your career in a vibrant environment where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
