Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from home remodeling and restoration to new builds such as: luxury decks, outdoor roof structures and additions utilizing your expertise in carpentry, fabrication, and general construction. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are essential to thrive in this energetic environment. Responsibilities Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding projects while adhering to blueprints and schematics. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, metal studs, and concrete forms. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site setup, material handling, and demolition activities. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise installation of fixtures, cabinetry, roofing components, and other structural elements. Assist with restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and general site cleanup. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with scaffolding, metal studs, CNC fabrication equipment or during roofing and siding installations. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading. Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and grinders; and specialized equipment for masonry or metal framing. Experience with various aspects of carpentry including trim work, framing (wooden or metal), fixture installation, door hanging, cabinetry installation, and roofing. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Ability to interpret schematics for electrical systems or plumbing layouts; experience with CNC or fabrication equipment is a plus. Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as water damage repair or mold remediation is advantageous. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members on complex projects while maintaining a focus on quality workmanship.
