BoldRoot Builders is a growing residential construction company serving Northern Vermont. We are looking for a skilled, dependable carpenter who can perform most residential carpentry tasks independently and take pride in quality workmanship. Responsibilities Residential remodeling, additions, renovations, and new construction Framing, roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, stairs, and trim Interior finish carpentry, drywall, and general construction Reading plans, layouts, and measurements Operating standard construction tools and equipment Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and crew members Troubleshooting and solving problems in the field Qualifications Several years of residential carpentry experience Able to complete most common carpentry tasks unassisted Solid understanding of residential construction Able to read plans and work from layouts Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a small crew Owns or is comfortable using standard carpentry tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation You don't need to know everything, but you should be able to take ownership of a task and get it done without constant supervision.
