Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Carpenter/Leadman to join our dynamic construction team. This pivotal role combines hands-on craftsmanship with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that residential and restoration projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate tasks among crew members, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and technical specifications. Your expertise in carpentry, framing, and finishing will drive project success and client satisfaction. Duties Lead and supervise construction crews in residential carpentry, framing, trim work, siding, door hanging, and fixture installation Interpret and execute construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings with precision Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Perform detailed tasks such as rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, mold remediation, and flooring installation Manage the use of wood construction materials including metal studs and other framing components while ensuring quality standards are met Oversee site safety protocols related to power tool safety, heavy lifting techniques, and general construction site safety measures Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of remodeling projects and restoration industry requirements Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Extensive background in residential carpentry, including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, siding installation, and fixture mounting Hands-on experience with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders; familiarity with woodworking machines is a plus Knowledge of plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, caulking techniques, mold remediation and flooring installation Demonstrated ability to work on construction sites with a focus on safety practices for power tools and heavy lifting Prior involvement in restoration projects or the remodeling industry is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining attention to detail in assembly tasks such as metal stud framing or fixture installation This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to showcase their carpentry expertise while leading projects that transform spaces. Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
