Commercial Finish Carpenter /
Traveling Installer Pay:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Full-time | Extensive Travel Required I-5 Design Build is looking for a skilled Commercial Finish Carpenter / Traveling Installer to join our installation team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has developed a strong foundation in commercial carpentry or specialty installation and is ready to take the next step in their career. Our installers work on unique, high-end projects throughout the country, including casinos, resorts, restaurants, and entertainment environments. This is not repetitive production carpentry. Our projects involve a wide variety of custom architectural and decorative elements, and we're looking for someone who enjoys figuring out how things go together, takes pride in quality work, and wants to continue developing their skills. The right person takes pride in craftsmanship, works hard without needing constant supervision, can think through a problem in the field, and is interested in becoming a well-rounded installer rather than staying limited to one trade. Requirements What You'll Do Install custom architectural décor, millwork, casework, countertops, signage, and specialty features Perform accurate layout from drawings and field dimensions Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and installation details Complete finish carpentry and specialty installation work to a high standard Use hand tools, power tools, lasers, and other layout equipment Solve field conditions and installation challenges as they arise Coordinate and work effectively with other installers, subcontractors, and project teams Travel throughout the United States for project installations Maintain a clean, professional, and safe jobsite What We're Looking For 3+ years of commercial carpentry, finish carpentry, millwork, or related installation experience Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Ability to read a tape accurately and understand construction drawings Experience with finish-quality installation and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and as part of a traveling team Dependable, professional, and willing to learn new installation methods Ability to travel extensively and work extended project schedules when required Valid driver's license and good driving record Experience with architectural millwork, solid-surface or stone countertops, signage, architectural metals, glazing, specialty fixtures, or commercial interiors is a plus. Benefits $30.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill level.

Paid Time Off:
