Full Job Description Lead Deck Carpenter / Crew Lead Modernized Exteriors - Snohomish County, WA $27-$55 per hour DOE | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM We are also interested in hiring young motivated individuals that are looking to learn and be a great team member. Modernized Exteriors is seeking an experienced Lead Deck Carpenter / Crew Lead to join our growing team. We specialize in premium composite decking, outdoor living spaces, railings, patio covers, and custom exterior projects throughout Snohomish County and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for an experienced carpenter who is ready to take ownership of projects, lead a crew, mentor apprentices, and build some of the highest-quality outdoor living spaces in Washington. Responsibilities Lead and manage deck installation crews on residential projects Build high-quality composite and PVC decking systems Train and mentor apprentice carpenters Maintain production schedules and job site efficiency Communicate professionally with homeowners and project managers Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to company standards Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site Qualifications Proven experience building composite decks and outdoor living projects Strong leadership and crew management skills Ability to read plans and complete projects independently Excellent customer service and communication skills Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to train and develop less experienced team members Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must own a reliable truck and basic carpentry tools Strong work ethic and positive attitude Compensation & Benefits $27-$55 per hour depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities available after six months of employment Medical benefits available after successful completion of the introductory employment period Consistent year-round work Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) Opportunities for advancement and career growth Work with premium products including Deckorators, TimberTech, AZEK, Trex, and Fortress Steel Framing Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, shows up every day ready to lead, and understands the importance of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
