H2C leads the nation's largest and most complex radioactive waste cleanup, including closure of the legacy waste tanks at Hanford containing 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste. Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) is seeking two fully qualified Carpenter journeyman. Perform all types of shop and field carpentry work, new or repair, such as layout and fabrication of cabinets, structural framing, complex forms, etc. Set up and operate power woodworking tools. Layout work for and direct others. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Journeyman Carpenter demonstrated by five years of journeyman-level experience. Must be able to wear a mask; must be able to work in confined spaces. Desired Qualifications Previous experience working in a nuclear facility is a plus. Must have or be able to obtain Radiological Worker II qualifications and 40 Hour hazardous waste qualifications.
