Job Description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Carpenter role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for quality craftsmanship and a commitment to delivering the highest quality construction and woodworking projects. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications. Install structures, fixtures, cabinetry, trim, and other finish carpentry components. Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met. Perform repairs, modifications, and adjustments as needed throughout the construction process. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and supervisors to meet project timelines and goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as required. Promptly report any project concerns, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in carpentry, woodworking, construction, or a related field is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime as required by project demands. Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools accurately, and operate hand and power tools safely. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices is a plus.
