Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Carpenter and become a vital part of building durable, high-quality structures. In this role, you will be responsible for executing concrete-related tasks with precision and efficiency, contributing to a variety of projects including commercial, residential, and restoration sites. Your expertise in concrete forming, finishing, and related carpentry skills will help us deliver exceptional results on every project. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete and carpentry tasks. Set up forms and molds for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability using hand tools and power tools. Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications to strengthen concrete structures. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, heavy equipment, and other machinery safely and efficiently on-site. Finish concrete surfaces with techniques such as troweling, floating, and sealing to achieve smooth, durable finishes. Perform masonry work including stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and roof repairs as needed. Assist with renovation projects by framing with metal studs or wood, restoring existing structures, or performing restoration work. Use caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to ensure high-quality aesthetic results. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines while ensuring safety standards are upheld throughout construction activities. Skills Mechanical knowledge of construction tools, equipment operation, and maintenance. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines. Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping operations. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation related to construction projects. Proficient in the use of hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy machinery (excavators, loaders). Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures for heavy lifting and equipment operation. Ability to perform masonry tasks such as stucco application or tile installation; experience with restoration or renovation projects is a plus. Knowledge of metal stud framing, flooring installation, roofing repairs or replacements is beneficial. Capable of heavy lifting while maintaining proper safety practices; physically fit for demanding tasks.
