Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on construction sites, including some landscaping duties. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to high standards. Duties Assist with framing, installation, repair, and finishing of structures using various carpentry tools and techniques Perform general labor tasks such as loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and preparation of work areas Engage in landscaping activities as needed, which may include planting, grading, or other outdoor site work Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety for all team members Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects Use hand tools and power tools appropriately and safely to complete assigned tasks Assist in material handling and organization on-site to support workflow efficiency Skills Proven experience or training in carpentry or related construction trades preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus but not required Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions Basic knowledge of landscaping practices is advantageous Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Safety-conscious attitude with a focus on maintaining a secure work environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team This position offers an opportunity for hands-on experience in construction and landscaping while contributing to diverse projects.
