- Full-time We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Carpenter to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
Construct a variety of outdoor carpentry projects from decks and patios to pergolas, fences, gazebos, and other structures, following blueprints and specifications. Install outdoor features such as benches, planters, ponds Construct decks, stairs and railings to code. Assist with maintaining and repairing existing outdoor structures. Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using hand and power tools. Ensure a safe work environment by following all company safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Load and unload tools and materials. May assist with other landscaping tasks as needed including plant material installation.Project Management and Client Interaction:
Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project goals and preferences.Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Conduct preventative maintenance on outdoor structures, including staining, sealing, and hardware checks. Diagnose and repair minor structural issues in decks, fences, and patios. Troubleshoot drainage problems around decks and patios. Maintain and sharpen carpentry tools and equipment. Provide input on material selection and design features within budget constraints. Assist with creating project timelines and estimates. Conduct pre-construction site evaluations to assess feasibility and code compliance. Perform quality control checks throughout the construction process. Communicate effectively with clients to address questions and concerns.Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or landscape construction. Proven ability to build high-quality outdoor structures from wood and composite materials. Strong understanding of carpentry principles and techniques. Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Excellent physical condition; ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Valid driver's license. A passion for working outdoors and creating beautiful spaces. Strong work ethic, with a commitment to quality and safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Job Type:
