Job Description

Job Summary We are one of Milwaukee's top decking contractors we have almost unlimited work year round, we only build composite decks are a example installer for one of Americas largest decking companies We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Carpenter or experienced to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in carpentry and construction trades. As an entry-level professional, you will assist with a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in framing, trim work, installation, and restoration. This paid position is ideal for those passionate about building, remodeling, and contributing to high-quality craftsmanship on diverse construction sites. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic and a desire to learn! Responsibilities Assist with framing, drywall installation, and basic carpentry tasks using hand tools and power tools Support the installation of fixtures, doors, siding, cabinets, and flooring according to project specifications Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements Participate in concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, and masonry work under supervision Perform demolition and site cleanup to prepare for new construction or restoration projects Follow safety protocols diligently while handling heavy lifting and operating machinery Contribute to water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other repair projects as needed Skills Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Ability to read blueprints and schematics with guidance Familiarity with construction estimating and fabrication processes is a plus Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques Understanding of safety standards related to construction sites and heavy machinery operation Experience or interest in specialized areas such as trim carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying, or electrical work is advantageous This position provides a comprehensive introduction to the construction industry with opportunities for growth into specialized trades. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
