This leadership role requires a proactive professional who can manage job sites, lead crews, ensure project quality and safety standards, and complete hands-on work efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to mentor and coordinate others on-site.
Leadership & Oversight:
Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters and laborers on job sites. Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day site operations, coordinating with the project manager and clients as needed. Interpret and execute plans and work orders with accuracy. Plan project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure all work is completed to high standards. Monitor safety compliance and ensure a clean, organized job site. Conduct daily inspections to assess quality, progress, and adherence to project specifications.
Hands-On Carpentry & Handyman Work:
Install and repair structures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, trim, hardware, and framing. Shape, cut, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and machines. Measure and mark materials using appropriate tools (ruler, chalk line, level, etc.). Repair or replace damaged wood, drywall, tile, or other materials. Perform minor plumbing, electrical, welding, and masonry work. Apply finishes to wood, drywall, or surfaces including painting, sanding, or paneling.
