About the Role Are you a master craftsperson, skilled finish carpenter, or experienced lead window installer looking to elevate your career with an industry-leading home improvement company? ECS is hiring a Lead Window & Door Installer to lead premium residential replacement and custom installation projects. If you take pride in precision craftsmanship, high-end millwork, custom trim, and delivering flawless residential remodeling solutions, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities & Core Skills Lead Residential Installations:
Oversee and execute full-frame replacement, pocket/insert installations, custom entry door systems, patio doors, sliding glass doors, bay/bow windows, and specialty fenestration products.
Precision Carpentry & Finishing:
Perform custom interior trim, casing, stool/apron work, exterior capping/flashing, aluminum brake work, siding integration, and waterproofing.
Job Site Leadership:
Manage project timelines, direct helper/apprentice crew members, perform accurate pre-installation measurements, and ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and local building codes.
Client Engagement & Professionalism:
Serve as the primary on-site technical expert, walking homeowners through completed work with clear communication, exceptional customer care, and strict white-glove cleanliness.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure air- and water-tight sealing, flawless mechanical operation, proper insulation, and strict adherence to manufacturer installation guidelines.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in residential window replacement, door installation, finish carpentry, framing, glazing, or home remodeling.
Technical Skills:
Mastery of metal brake operation, weatherproofing/flashing, air sealing, power tool operation, precision measuring, and structural retrofitting.
Tools & Transport:
Owns a reliable set of standard trade hand/power tools and holds a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 75+ lbs, comfortably work on ladders/scaffolding, and handle heavy glass/framed units safely.
