Job Description

Carpenter A highly respected custom home builder known for crafting luxury residences is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its growing team in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This company has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering some of the area's finest custom homes. This is an excellent opportunity for a carpenter who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working on unique, high-end residential projects where craftsmanship truly matters. Responsibilities Perform a variety of rough and finish carpentry tasks on custom home projects Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, siding, and other finish materials Assist with layout, material takeoffs, and project preparation Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Coordinate with Superintendents, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution Identify and resolve construction issues in the field Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Ensure projects meet company quality standards and building code requirements Qualifications 3+ years of carpentry experience preferred Residential construction experience required Custom home or high-end residential experience strongly preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong understanding of framing, finish carpentry, and general construction practices Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health insurance benefits Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan with company contribution or match Stable workload with a well-established builder Opportunity to work on beautiful, one-of-a-kind custom homes Supportive team environment with long-term growth opportunities
