Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter / Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. Whether you're experienced with power tools or eager to learn new skills, you'll be an essential part of delivering high-quality craftsmanship on every job site. We prioritize safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship, ensuring you grow your skills while contributing to exciting building projects. Duties Assist in framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry including trim, cabinetry, and door hanging Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete various construction tasks Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution Prepare and install concrete forms, rebar, siding, roofing materials, and stucco as needed Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as moving materials, scaffolding setup, and debris removal Support restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, and general repairs Assist with fabrication of custom components using woodworking or metalworking techniques Follow safety protocols consistently to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites Skills Proven experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Skilled in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry installation Proficient with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, and flooring installation Ability to perform water damage restoration tasks such as mold remediation and plastering effectively Experience with plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems or related trades is a plus but not required Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces Familiarity with schematics for fixture installation or electrical wiring is advantageous This role offers a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills across multiple facets of construction.
