Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks to support construction, remodeling, restoration, and fabrication projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to concrete forming and fixture installation. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans Perform framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, drilling, sanding, and assembling materials Assist with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration projects Fabricate components using woodworking techniques or CNC machinery as needed for custom fixtures or repairs Install fixtures including doors, cabinets, mold remediation systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other building elements Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment around the job site Read construction plans and schematics to ensure accurate execution of tasks Support restoration projects by performing water damage mitigation, mold remediation, or general site cleanup Assist in construction painting and caulking to ensure finished surfaces meet quality standards Follow safety protocols at all times on the construction site to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of carpentry techniques and safety procedures Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for various construction disciplines Experience in framing (wood or metal), trim carpentry, fixture installation, roofing, masonry or remodeling projects preferred Knowledge of water damage restoration processes or mold remediation is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments Prior experience in the restoration industry or manufacturing environments involving fabrication Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Join us today to be part of a vibrant team committed to craftsmanship excellence!
