Job Description

Concrete Form Carpenter - Pittsburgh, PA Summit Skilled Solutions Summit Skilled Solutions is currently hiring experienced Concrete Form Carpenters to support the construction of a large-scale natural gas compressor stations and industrial facilities in the Pittsburgh area . These positions offer consistent work, overtime opportunities, and competitive compensation. Successful candidates will be responsible for the construction, placement, and finishing of concrete structures that support site infrastructure, foundations, equipment pads, and facility buildings.
Concrete Form Carpenter Job Scope:
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications Build, install, and remove concrete formwork using wood, metal, Symons, and other forming systems Set and secure forms to ensure proper alignment, elevation, and dimensions Install reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, embeds, and other components prior to concrete placement Verify forms are level, plumb, square, and properly braced before pours Strip forms after concrete has cured and prepare materials for reuse Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project Concrete Form Carpenter Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Concrete Form Carpenter and/or Concrete Finisher in commercial, industrial, heavy civil, or energy-sector construction Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Must be capable of performing physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity Ability to work effectively with supervisors, laborers, and other trades as part of a team Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check OSHA 10 and/or PEC/Safeland certification required (training assistance available for qualified candidates) Compensation & BenefitsLocal Candidates Up to $33.00 per hour , based on experience Traveling Candidates $27.00 per hour $100 per diem on days worked Additional Benefits Monday-Friday schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Guaranteed overtime opportunities Weekly pay via direct deposit Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Comprehensive medical and dental insurance Long-term opportunity into next year
