Job Purpose Role will support Honda's PowerSports & Products press department by overseeing public relations, planning, media interaction, loans of Power Equipment and Marine products. Key Accountabilities Power Equipment & Marine Media interaction Work with Media outlets across Endemic, Social, and Ambassadors to inform and promote Honda Powersports Products. This will include providing information and product loans. Department Inventory Management All activities in regards to forecasting and ordering units, ensuring power equipment & Marine products arrive on time for public relations departments for activites & Product loans. Also responsible for future removal from inventorya nd Pro Sales. Logistics management All activity regarding requesting and reviewing transportation quotes from varied vendors, selecting and confirming the business with the selected trucking agency, while also organizing and setting up pickups for units loaned to vendors, influencers, and endemic media outlets all while ensuring budget parameters are met. Work with OEM sales groups in PE & Marine to highlight partner product that features Honda engines. At-event support Assist with media interaction and on-site support of Honda events Product Press Release Review Work with media agency to insure accuracy of press materials and insure that proper messaging is being relayed. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills 2+ years industry, dealer, media outlet, OEM or aftermarket supplier experience required. Good mechanical knowledge and understanding of engine technology. Successful applicant should have familiarity of marine/power equipment business and marketing, including overall product knowledge of the Honda line-up and a good understanding of competitors' products. Applicant must be comfortable in a role that requires public speaking to large groups with expertise in our product categories. Must be able to safely load, unload, and supervise loading of trailers to ensure safe delivery to location. Must be able to operate a forklift to load and unload units from trucks. Prior event coordination, attendance, and execution preferred. Great verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Job Dimensions Decisions Expected Working Conditions In office will be required 4 days a week. Office, Warehouse, Service shop environment. Multi-day travel required including weekends. Events will be in all weather conditions with long hours and long periods of standing required. Team member will need to be able to assist in setting up displays, loading and unloading trucks, and moving units to various locations at event site.
