The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is looking for part-time Greyhound Racing Leadouts to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. Racing Leadouts have the important role of handling and caring for the greyhounds in the paddock and while they are en route to the starting box. What will you do? Lead dogs to the starting box Put dogs in the starting box Make sure that when a dog falls or is injured, it is safely removed from the track or is going in the correct direction Perform weigh-ins Lead dogs back to the lockout kennel and into the correct crates Physical requirements Lift and transport greyhounds daily in excess of 70 lbs., for up to 100 yards Able to run or jog up to 100 yards 7 to 10 times per night Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Shift details
