Full Job Description Key Responsibilities :

Operate green concrete saws to cut control joints in freshly placed concrete. Operate walk-behind and early-entry saws safely and efficiently Measure, mark, and follow joint spacing and layout based on project plans and specifications Monitor concrete conditions (set time, hardness, moisture) to determine optimal cutting window Ensure cuts meet required depth, alignment, and tolerances Inspect finished cuts to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications Follow blueprints and project specifications for accurate cuts and placement. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. Adjust cutting techniques based on weather and site conditions Keep work areas clean and safe, removing trip hazards and storing equipment properly. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth workflow. Conduct daily inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance of saws and blades Communicate with foremen and concrete crews to coordinate cutting schedules Minimum Qualifications 3+ Years of Experience with Concrete Green Saws Ability to read measurements and follow layout instructions Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a time-sensitive environment Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Physical ability to lift, stand, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks Valid driver's license is preferred All candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening. Testing requirements may be Non-DOT or DOT regulated depending on the position applied for.
