Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Form Setter and play a vital role in shaping durable, high-quality concrete structures. This energetic position involves setting up formwork for concrete pours, ensuring precise alignment and stability, and preparing surfaces for flawless finishing. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately set up forms and layouts for concrete structures. Install formwork using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and safety standards are met. Prepare surfaces by applying caulking, trimming carpentry, or stucco as needed to ensure smooth finishes and proper sealing. Assist with rebar installation to reinforce concrete structures, coordinating with other trades such as masonry or metal stud framing. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery to facilitate efficient pouring processes while maintaining safety protocols. Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, troweling, and sealing surfaces to achieve desired textures and quality standards. Support renovation projects by restoring existing structures through framing, plastering, or flooring installation as required. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools, heavy equipment, and basic hand tools confidently. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Familiarity with rebar installation, masonry work, tile laying, or roofing is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a safety-first mindset to maintain a secure work environment. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is desirable. Prior experience with restoration, renovation, or commercial construction projects will be highly valued.
