Full Job Description Position Overview:

Alexander Construction and Engineering is looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. We perform a variety of concrete work throughout the Los Angeles area, with a primary focus on residential projects and occasional commercial work. Applicants must already have hands-on experience performing concrete finishing work independently and safely.

Pay:

$300 per job , negotiable depending on experience, skill level, quality of work, and reliability Pay is per completed job (not hourly)

Work Schedule:

This is a project-based opportunity and is not a full-time role. Work availability depends on project volume and scheduling needs and may vary throughout the year. Some weeks we may have multiple jobs available, while other weeks may have limited assignments. Ideal for experienced concrete finishers seeking additional project work and the opportunity to work with an established construction team.

Responsibilities:

Finish concrete surfaces to required specifications and appearance standards Float, trowel, edge, broom finish, and apply other finishing techniques as needed Read and follow job instructions and project requirements Perform quality checks to ensure finished work meets company standards Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Concrete Finisher (required) Ability to complete jobs independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of concrete finishing tools and techniques Reliable transportation to job sites Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors

Preferred:

Experience with both residential and commercial concrete projects Ability to communicate with crew members and supervisors effectively

Additional Work Opportunities:

Candidates interested in more consistent work availability may also be considered for additional construction assignments outside of concrete finishing. Compensation for general construction work would be provided at a separate hourly rate (negotiable based on experience and qualifications). When assigned specifically to concrete finishing work, compensation would follow the $300-$350 per project structure.
