Concrete Worker

Position Overview:

Alexander Construction and Engineering is seeking a reliable and hardworking Concrete Worker to support concrete and general construction operations across residential and commercial projects. This position involves assisting with all phases of concrete work, including site preparation, concrete placement, pouring, cleanup, and supporting finishing operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment and able to work effectively as part of a crew.

Pay:

Compensation:

$25-30, depending on experience, skill level, quality of work, and reliability

Responsibilities:

Prepare and clean job sites prior to concrete operations Assist with layout, forming, and site setup Mix, place, spread, and pour concrete according to project requirements Assist with leveling, screeding, and preparing surfaces for finishing Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Support concrete finishing crews as needed Remove forms and maintain a clean and organized job site Follow company safety procedures and project specifications Assist with additional construction tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Prior construction or concrete experience preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with residential and commercial concrete projects Familiarity with concrete tools, equipment, and placement techniques Basic knowledge of construction safety practices
