Twining, innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with over 120 years of history, is seeking a Lead Concrete Scientist for its Twining Concrete Insight - Concrete Engineering group. The offices and laboratories of Twining are located throughout California. The geographical placement of the candidate will be subject to discussion.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for specialty concrete testing, concrete material evaluations, construction troubleshooting, forensic investigation tasks, and project management. Responsible for service development in the field of value concrete engineering and specialized testing. Responsible for report preparation and client support. Responsible for project-specific proposal preparations.

Required Competencies:

Degree in civil engineering or concrete materials science. Strong knowledge of concrete materials science and applied engineering. Experience with concrete production and construction practices. Experience with structural design is preferred. Experience with laboratory evaluations and tests of concrete and materials for concrete. Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and clients. Twining offers an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k) Plan.
