Concrete Foreman Orbit Concrete Riverside, CA Job Details Full-time $32.54 - $39.19 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Cast-in-place concrete structures Rebar installation Driver's License Mentoring Organizational skills Leading team collaboration initiatives Leadership Full Job Description Concrete Foreman Orbit Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to oversee residential and commercial concrete construction projects, including foundations, slabs, flatwork, sidewalks, curbs, and related site concrete work. The Foreman will be responsible for managing field crews, coordinating materials and equipment, reading plans, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead concrete crews on residential and commercial projects. Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and layout drawings. Determine material quantities and coordinate ordering of concrete, rebar, forms, and other jobsite materials. Plan daily work activities and ensure projects stay on schedule. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure proper layout, grading, forming, reinforcing, placing, and finishing of concrete. Maintain quality control and verify work is completed according to plans and specifications. Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite. Track labor, equipment, and production on assigned projects. Train and mentor crew members while maintaining productivity and workmanship standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman or lead concrete supervisor. Strong knowledge of residential and commercial foundations and concrete flatwork. Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications. Experience ordering materials and coordinating deliveries. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, reinforcement, and formwork practices. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
