Commercial Concrete Foreman

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects within the commercial sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate crews, manage schedules, and uphold safety protocols while maintaining excellent communication with clients and management. Your expertise in construction management and concrete operations will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of commercial concrete construction activities on-site, including pouring, finishing, and curing processes. Lead and manage a team of skilled workers, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to ensure timely completion. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations (OSHA), and client requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate workflows, manage budgets, and resolve on-site issues promptly. Oversee safety protocols by conducting regular site inspections, enforcing OSHA standards, and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel. Skills Extensive experience in construction site management with a focus on concrete projects within the commercial sector. Proven supervising experience with strong leadership skills to motivate teams and manage multiple crews effectively. Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Primavera for scheduling and documentation purposes. Knowledge of construction estimating techniques including budgeting, contracts, and project scope management. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; familiar with schematics related to pipelines or heavy infrastructure projects. Skilled in using measurement tools such as ohmmeters for quality checks or troubleshooting electrical components on site. Familiarity with construction safety standards including OSHA regulations; committed to maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Strong understanding of construction management principles including project scheduling, quality control, and managing subcontractors.
