full-time Director of Concrete Restoration & Building Envelope Operations Spire Building Solutions | South Florida | Full-Time, Exempt | On-Site Spire Building Solutions is a commercial concrete restoration and building envelope preservation contractor serving South Florida's condominium, hospitality, and healthcare markets. We are hiring a Director of Operations to take full ownership of our regional project portfolio - the people, the projects, the margin, and the client relationships. What You Own Lead, manage and grow regionally operating project teams. Influence professional growth and development of talented team members at every level. Use daily production, activity and field reports while making informed business decisions. Oversee, allocate and align resources across the regional portfolio, including budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, change order capture, labor productivity, and subcontractor spend for regional P&L. Manage organizational influence and high level communication with board members, property managers, property owners, investors and engineers. Represent operations in the project estimating process and objectively address preconstruction through closeout activities and contractual obligations for consideration. Q/C constructability review, mobilization plan, phasing and means and methods. Span of Authority & Leadership Make hiring, assignment, promotion, corrective action, and termination decisions in coordination with executive leadership and HR Approve budgets, forecasts, change orders, procurement, and subcontractor commitments within established thresholds Commit company resources, labor, equipment, and rentals to protect schedule and client commitments Establish and enforce operating standards, cadences, and accountability across all project teams Act as Spire's senior operational decision-maker and escalation point for regional clients What You Bring 7-10+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial building envelope, concrete restoration, waterproofing, façade work, including oversight of concurrent projects. (No ground up or shell) Demonstrated success in the role and if applicable, leading and developing other Project Managers, Superintendents, and self-perform field crews performing concrete restoration work. Strong project financials, forecasting, budgeting, construction contracts, risk mitigation and financial management capability at the portfolio or business-unit level up to $20MM. Deep means, methods, application and systems knowledge of concrete restoration, waterproofing, masonry, coatings, and sealants scopes of work and products. Proficiency in Procore, Sage Estimating, Microsoft Project, Revit and other construction management tools. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Coaching, influencing, communicating with bilingual PM teams, field crews and subcontractors and clients. OSHA-30 (OSHA-500 preferred); First Aid/CPR; competent person for swing stage, suspended, motorized, and fixed scaffolds and aerial lifts. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
