In this vital role, you will ensure the quality and compliance of concrete materials used on various construction projects. Your expertise will help maintain high standards by performing rigorous testing, inspections, and data collection in accordance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while developing your skills in construction materials testing and quality assurance. Duties Perform construction site inspections to monitor concrete placement, curing, and finishing processes. Collect and analyze data related to concrete properties, documenting results accurately using digital tools such as Microsoft Office. Ensure adherence to American Concrete Institute (ACI) Standards, ASTM standards, and AASHTO standards for concrete testing procedures. Inspect construction materials including soil, asphalt, masonry, and other related materials to ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate findings clearly with project managers, clients, and contractors to facilitate timely decision-making. Assist in preparing detailed reports on test results, inspection findings, and compliance documentation for project records. Requirements Strong knowledge of concrete properties, ASTM standards, ACI standards, and AASHTO standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data collection and report writing. Construction site experience with a focus on concrete testing, soil testing, asphalt testing, or masonry is desirable. Basic math skills and numeracy are essential for accurate measurements and analysis. Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Construction inspection or construction materials inspection experience is a plus. Familiarity with construction asphalt testing and construction soil testing procedures is advantageous.
