In this vital role, you will operate commercial vehicles to deliver ready mix concrete efficiently and reliably to construction sites. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, safe operations, and excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment necessary for concrete delivery and site preparation. Load, transport, and unload ready mix concrete at various construction sites while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. Perform routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Assist with construction site tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, paving, and concrete finishing as needed. Operate auxiliary machinery such as loaders, and concrete pumps to support delivery operations and site work. Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and communicate effectively with site supervisors regarding delivery schedules or issues. Support construction activities by understanding site layout, coordinating with team members, and ensuring timely project progress. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and concrete pumps in a construction environment. Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, especially concrete mixer trucks and dump trucks. Familiarity with construction site procedures such as rebar installation, concrete forming, paving, and finishing techniques. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting vehicle issues or minor equipment repairs. Ability to operate concrete pumping systems safely and efficiently on various job sites. Excellent driving record with a valid CDL license; knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations is essential. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as loading/unloading materials and assisting on-site activities.
